You
are invited to join the next major festivities to be held at the Singapore
Kalyanamitta Centre which will be held on:

Sunday
22 April 2001: The Earth Day Ceremony from 10.30 - 14.00H. includes
a worldwide meditation transmission and the offering of educational scholarships
-
Monday
7 May 2001: Vesak Day from 10.30 - 14.00H. includes almsgiving, meditation,
transfer of merit and the offering of robes.
Regular
activities organized by the centre which you are also welcome to join are
as follows:

Every
First Sunday of the Month: from 10.30 - 14.00H. worldwide meditation
transmission with offering of sustenance to the Lord Buddha, taking of
Five Precepts, offering sanghadana and offering of robes. There will also
be a guest speaker monk who will give a sermon in English.

Every
Sunday: from 10.30 - 12.00H. worldwide meditation transmission, taking
of Five Precepts and offering sanghadana.

Every
Saturday: from 18.30 - 19.30H. Thai Language classes for adults and children
alike

Every
Tuesday Evening: from 20.30 - 21.30H. chanting, meditation and lecture
at the kalyanamitta home of Ms. Nantana (Toa Payoh)

Every
Friday Evening: from 20.30 - 21.30H. chanting, meditation and lecture at
the kalyanamitta home of Mr. Yeo (Bukit Batok)

Every
evening: from 20.30 - 21.30H. chanting and meditation at Singapore Kalyanamitta
Centre, Outram.

Every
day, offering of breakfast (08.00H.) and midday meal (12.00H.) to the monastic
community of the Singapore Kalyanamitta Centre, Outram.
